First Taste is designed to grab the very young child’s attention with song, art, crafts, drama and games. By exposure to the aleph-bet, Torah tales, prayer through song and holiday studies, a child gains a sense of pride and love for Judaism.

HEBREW SCHOOL 
Grades 2-6: Every Sunday for the duration of the scholastic year.
Sundays From 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

This program offers a more advanced Hebrew and Jewish studies curriculum. Children learn to read and write Hebrew and gain an appreciation for the ‘why’s and ‘how’s, of contemporary Jewish life. Tutoring is also Available for all ages to help your child grow.
Wednesdays will incorporate conversational hebrew.

NEW! BAT MITZVAH DISCOVERY COURSE

Girls ages 11 & 12: Every Sunday for the duration of the scholastic year.
Sundays From 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

The class will be an intense preparation class for girls reaching the Bat Mitzvah milestone. We will focus on reading Hebrew fluently, and knowing the basic prayers. We will cover the mitzvot pertaining specifically to Jewish women, learn about the great Jewish women throughout history, and each girl will choose a mitzvah project to work on. There will also be various educational trips throughout the year. The main focus will be to prepare for the special day when the girls will have their celebration. The class will culminate with a beautiful Bat Mitzvah party for the girls and their families.
